Rill 是 macOS 下载管理器。本说明描述官网版应用的本地存储、下载网络连接和更新检查。 / Rill is a macOS download manager. This notice describes local storage, download connections and update checks in the direct-download edition.

1. 本地数据 / Local data

下载任务、来源链接、文件路径、进度、历史及设置保存在 Mac 上，下载文件写入你选择的目录。Rill 不要求注册开发者账号。移除任务与删除文件是不同操作，请检查回收站确认框中的文件删除选项。

Tasks, source links, file paths, progress, history and settings are stored on your Mac. Downloaded files are written to your selected folder. No developer account is required. Removing a task and deleting its files are separate choices; review the file deletion option in the confirmation dialog.

2. 下载与网络 / Downloads and networking

HTTP / HTTPS 下载会向你指定的资源服务器发送下载请求。BitTorrent 会联系 Tracker、DHT（启用时）及其他节点，交换 IP 地址、连接信息、种子标识和分片可用性，并可能上传已下载的分片。资源服务器、Tracker、代理及节点可能根据各自规则记录连接信息；BT 不提供匿名保证。

HTTP / HTTPS downloads send requests to your chosen source server. BitTorrent contacts trackers, DHT (when enabled) and peers, exchanging IP addresses, connection information, torrent identifiers and piece availability. It may upload downloaded pieces. Source servers, trackers, proxies and peers may log connection information under their own rules. BitTorrent does not guarantee anonymity.

自动网络模式会检测系统代理及可用网络，并可能使用直接连接。固定代理模式的行为与自动模式不同，具体以应用设置说明为准。请使用你信任且有权访问和分享的资源。

Automatic networking discovers system proxies and available networks and may use direct connections. Fixed proxy mode behaves differently; consult the descriptions in Settings. Use sources you trust and are entitled to access and share.

3. 剪贴板和文件夹 / Clipboard and folders

启用剪贴板识别时，应用在本机识别磁力或种子链接；启用文件夹监控时，会读取指定目录中的种子文件。这些功能可在常规设置中关闭。识别本身不等于向开发者上传剪贴板或文件夹内容；开始下载后会发生上述网络连接。

When clipboard detection is enabled, the app identifies magnet or torrent links locally. Folder watching reads torrent files in your selected folder when enabled. Both can be disabled in General Settings. Detection itself does not upload clipboard or folder contents to the developer; starting a download creates the network connections described above.

4. 官网更新 / Website updates

主动检查更新时，Sparkle 请求 37Step.com 上的更新清单；安装更新时下载对应安装包。官网托管服务会处理提供文件所需的 IP 地址、请求时间等网络信息和访问日志。当前版本默认不自动检查或安装更新，不向 Sparkle 发送系统画像。更新清单及安装包使用签名验证。

When you check for updates, Sparkle requests the update feed from 37Step.com. Installing an update downloads its package. Website hosting processes network information and access logs such as IP addresses and request times to deliver these files. The current version does not automatically check for or install updates by default and does not send a system profile to Sparkle. The feed and packages are signature-verified.

5. 联系支持 / Contacting support

如果你主动发送诊断报告或截图，支持人员会收到其中的信息。发送前请删除不必要的来源链接、私人文件名、路径、IP 地址及其他个人信息。联系：leyu521@me.com。
