Planning

Build a Kanban board you will actually use.

Let your board answer three questions: what is next, what is underway and what is done.

01

Start with three states

Use To do, In progress and Done. Write a concrete action such as “draft three homepage headlines” instead of “build website.”

02

Limit work in progress

Keep your active tasks within a manageable range. If a card sits for a long time, split it into smaller actions or note what is blocking it.

03

Separate projects from daily work

Give separate projects their own boards. Choose the most important next step each day. Review completed work weekly and remove obsolete tasks.

04

Put it into practice with iToDo

Organize tasks by project and drag them as status changes. This guide describes a personal workflow; confirm shared boards and permissions separately if needed.

iToDo

Give your projects a clear home. Move tasks through a visual board and keep your next step in sight.
