Voice & notes

From spoken words to useful notes in three steps.

A transcript is a starting point. Check it, organize it and identify next steps to make it useful.

01

Check language and participant consent

Inform participants and obtain consent before recording a meeting or interview. Select the matching language; Smart Notes currently requires manual selection of Chinese, English, Japanese or Korean.

02

Review likely recognition errors

Check names, technical terms, numbers and dates. A personal dictionary supplies recognition hints but does not replace review. Keep the surrounding text for important conclusions.

03

Separate summaries from action items

A summary explains what was discussed. Action items identify who does what and when. Check AI output for omitted conditions or conclusions not supported by the transcript.

04

Understand local and cloud processing

Notes are local-first; system speech recognition may require a network. Cloud AI sends selected text only with consent and requires Sign in with Apple. You can withdraw consent in Privacy Settings.

Smart Notes

Capture a meeting, a lesson or an idea before it slips away. Turn speech into text, then organize it into summaries, key points and next steps.
